One in ten St. Ignatius of Loyola Catholic Elementary School students have elected to join the brand new French Club!
Happening every Wednesday at recess, upwards of 30 grades 4-8 students join FSL teachers Alyssa Mendes and Gabriela Volante for French Club where each week students have a different theme - whether it be music, snacks, movies, or games, all infused with French language and culture!
New this year, Mendes and Volante wanted to create a French environment throughout the whole school culture by integrating French in announcements, prayers and by starting the club. As a result of the involvement, the club will be leading a collaborative Remembrance Day liturgy for students in grades 4-8.
